sorry for the delays everyone, I haven’t forgotten you, I have been busy studying for my own work. now, as for this pic, it doesn’t quite display enough info, but I will try to go more indepth without images..
the first 3 here are Hikae, the 2 on the left are gobu (5 tenths) and the right shichibu (7 tenths) the same is used for the legs.
the bottom left is kame-noh-koh, which translates to turtle back
nukibori is a kame-noh-koh without mikiri (background)
gakubori is with mikirithe image to the right is the munewari soushinbori which is - shichibu (7 tenths) with munewari (split chest - for those who don’t know, this is the bare skin splitting the tattoo down the middle, it was done so kimono would easily conceal the tattoo, still practical today, but it seems to be less common)
the next one along is the gobu (5 tenths) style munewari soushinbori
and then gobu (5 tenths) style munewari soushinbori with hanzubon (shorts)
and the last is donburi soushinbori with nagasode (long sleeves)I do have some other terminology for armpits, but it is a little difficult to explain, maybe if I come across pics I will let you know!
